From Twin Sails Brewing. Barley wine aged in bourbon and port barrels. 11.8%.
Things I’ve heard about this brewery have not been great but I’m a sucker for beer, cars, movies, and packaging, so why not? I’ve also not had a Port barrel aged beer before. Not bad. It won’t kill me, but it’ll take the whole afternoon to drink it.
Edit: Forgot to ask.
What’s Oppo drinking?

Yes, I’d say it’s worth it. Barley Wines are difficult to do well and this one’s okay. Maybe their reputation as bland does this style a favor. There was a weird metallic flavour at first but it’s disappeared. Nice sipper with no edges.
Interestingly there’s a slight red color in just the right light.

Love coffee stouts, not much is better on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I’ve had some Evil Twin but haven’t heard of Two Roads. I’ll look for this.
Last weekend I tried Equilibrium Imperial Coffee Milk Stout from Foamers Folly. I t was great. 8.5% is perfect. I’ve yet to be disappointed by them .

They’re a craft brewer out of Bridgeport CT, but 2/3 of the beer they brew is under contract for other breweries.
I got hooked on porter/ stouts in college. There was a bar that had a giant menu and we found that Berkshire coffee house porter had the best %abv:$ ratio of any beer. After that all other beers are water.
